The Electronic Charity Open (ECO) is the only electronics industry event in the Greater Vancouver area. It provides the perfect opportunity for participants to network with new or potential clients and strengthen relationships with existing business contacts in a relaxed and informal environment.

This event raises funds for the MS Society of Canada. Every day, British Columbians living with MS turn to the Society for assistance. With the generous support from the electronic tech community since 2005, our donations have helped advance their work in supporting their members with much-needed medical equipment, legal advice and peer support.

Teams of four take part in an 18-hole competition at the Redwoods Golf Course. Participants can enjoy a tailgate, receive refreshments on the course throughout the day, enter draws for great prizes, and attend a dinner and awards ceremony in the evening.

Previous year’s donation

The Electronics Charity Open golf tournament is the only one of its kind for our industry in British Columbia. In 2019, we celebrated the tournament’s 14th year.

Our team is and proud to say that it was our biggest event to date with over 100+ golfers, volunteers and dinner guests in attendance and over $11,000 raised for Multiple Sclerosis research.

Audience & Exposure

In the lead up to ECO, strategically planned promotional activities are scheduled to ensure that the event is marketed to the right audience. These activities provide the sponsors with exposure to hundreds of professionals in the electronics industry.

The target audience for this event includes Directors, Chief Executive Officers and Senior Executives of electronics distributors, representatives, suppliers, contract manufacturers and customers.

Last year there were over 100+ golfers in attendance, plus another 20 for dinner. This year is expected to be bigger and better, with over $6,000 in prizes, more participants and new sponsorship opportunities to help us hit an even larger donation goal for the MS Society of Canada.
